One of the newest trends nowadays is to be eco. Everybody wants to be eco, to help planet live longer and healthier. This way we help us. A term recently used, again, is global warming. For a while we forgot about it, but now it seems to be more actual then ever. People wonder if global warming is true, real, does it really exist. Or it is just a hoax, to distract attention from other things into this direction. Let’s see the facts.
Global warming is a natural phenomenon, consisting in continuous growing of the temperatures of the atmosphere, close to the earth. This growing accelerated in the last half century. And this affects environment, plant and animals, and even human life on earth in the future. Because of the facts that air is warmer, the ice from the poles and the glaciers melt and the level of the oceans all over the world is growing, and extreme climatic things happen. Fast and continuous. The water becomes more salted and more acidic. The temperature all over the world increases with almost 1°C, which is much, considering the situation.
The causes of global warming are very varied. We speak about extern causes, provoked by humanity and its activity on Earth. The one which causes most disasters is the greenhouse effect. This means that a part of the gases and toxins from soil are kept in the air. This radiation is reflected back on Earth, and produces warming. This warming is not very good, as it disturbs natural environment and harmony. Most of those gases and toxin and made by humans, but some are natural. The most dangerous vapors are water vapors, carbon dioxide, methane and ozone. All these contribute to global warming by greenhouse effect.
Another natural phenomenon that contributes to global warming is volcanism. When volcanoes erupt, the magma contains carbon dioxide, which produces greenhouse effect. Also the sulphurous aerosols and volcanic ashes contribute to solar radiation. This determines warming on the soil.
The biggest polluter in the world is man. Human activity disturbs balance in the nature and contributes to warming the planet. Because of evolution and industrial revolution, man used nature and environment in his benefit and polluted waters and air. All sorts of activities: transportation, heating, producing electrical energy, clearing of the forests, agriculture, growing of the animals, plant cultures lead to greenhouse effect and global warming. We must be much more careful to what we do, if not, in short time, our world will be destroyed by ourselves. Yes, this is not a hoax, is reality around us. Protect it from destroying!
